I'm the squirrel. This is my tree. I build things in the garage when I should probably be sleeping.

By day I work in software. By night (and weekends, and some lunch breaks) I make sawdust, burn things with a laser, and try to get CNC toolpaths to not leave a 0.5mm step that ruins an otherwise good piece of walnut.

Squirrel Built started because I kept losing my project notes. Now I lose them on the internet instead, where at least someone else might find them useful.

Everything here is documented honestly — the things that worked, the things that absolutely didn't, and the cost overruns I told myself were "learning experiences."
